We love helping New Yorkers.

At KKBA we have a 100% success rate selling pharmacy businesses all over the country.  Also, we have a database of buyers looking to acquire locations in almost every state of the union.  We were not given this success rate, we earned it over 10 years selling pharmacy businesses all over the country.  We didn’t do it by only taking on the easy cases either.  We have sold pharmacy businesses that were less than a year old (no history), and we have sold pharmacies that had fallen on hard times and were not profitable any longer.

We have a special group of folks in our company, Medical Sales Group, who are dedicated and committed to serving our pharmacy owners.  The Director of the group, Mr. Phil Blum, eats, sleeps and dreams selling medical related businesses.  There is not another broker in the country that is as focused and as fierce as Mr. Blum when it comes to negotiating these deals for our owners.

The current market for pharmacysellers.

As mentioned earlier, we are in a Seller’s Market right now.  This is a good thing for you an owner.  Nobody knows how long it’s going to last but while it does we will work tirelessly to help every pharmacy owner who is smart enough to take advantage of this market right now.

  • Prices are at a 10 year high!
  • Banks actually “get it” as far as financing pharmacy acquisitions.  Most small businesses are not financeable.
  • The 2017 Tax Act has tax minimization opportunities for almost all sellers.

    KKBA timing the sale

The time is right for you to sell.

You should know that it’s risky to try to sell your pharmacy business alone.  If you “don’t know what you don’t know” it can surely hurt you.  Your business is likely to be one of your most valuable assets you will ever own.  Negotiating the sale of your business requires a skill set and universe of knowledge that is entirely different from your skill set and experience.

If we are not successful in selling your business YOU PAY US NOTHING!

Is “Focused and Fierce really necessary?

You bet it is!   The folks out in the market making pharmacy buys are not the same people buying little neighborhood Bodegas or Vape Stores or Bed & Breakfasts.  The folks out there buying pharmacy businesses are not amateurs.  You don’t miraculously wake up one morning and say to yourself “I think I’ll go out and buy a pharmacy today.”  These buyers are smart, astute and cunning business people who quite often have Attorneys and MBA’s on retainer to help them negotiate these deals  They don’t rollover none to easy when it’s time to start negotiating, and we don’t either.

We know what makes these people tick, we know how they think, we know the value drivers that drive them and we use this information, and the experience we have gained from years of negotiating these deals to get YOU-the very best price, in the shortest period of time under the best of terms.

Note:  A brief note about licensing provided by our friends at LicenseLogix:

Pharmacy and medical suppliers are governed by stringent federal and state laws, particularly those that participate in the Medicare/Medicaid program. A pharmacy must obtain an “in-state” or a “resident” license. This generally requires an extensive application, varying fees, proof of insurance, and an inspection, which is usually scheduled upon approval of the application. If the company wishes to expand into another state, it must obtain an “out-of-state” or a “non-resident” license in that state. This process is more of the same, but also may require verification that the business currently holds a resident license (or proof that a license is not required) in the home state.
